Lost object: White wallet
Location: Student central, University of Auckland.
Situation: Not sure how I lost it. Actually I did not realize it was lost until I got an email from AUSA on Thursday telling me someone had found it and asking me to pick it up.

Found object: Black mobile phone (Samsung?)
Location: Britomart Station, Auckland CBD
Situation: I spotted the phone at the back row seat on a Northern Express bus heading to North Shore on Friday evening. I guess it possibly slipped out from someone’s pocket.
This radar chart shows objects of black color have the highest frequency of being lost (10 lost, 2 found). The second popular colors in the survey are gold/yellow and white (3 lost, 1 found).

My presentation format for the exhibition on 28 Oct is going to be 1 sheet A1 print plus a interactive flash website

I would prefer to hide the geographic boundaries on the printed map, showing only the north point and scale.
And the flash website (still in progress) would be something looks like this. By clicking on each dot, an information box pops up and visitors can read the story, locate the item on Google Map or make a comment on this blog.
I will try to make the category buttoms work so visitors can choose which subcategory to look at. Also they will have the choice of viewing with the geographic boundaries on/off 
Lost object: Olive Army Cap
Location: Unknown, possibly near Pinehill School, Hugh Green Drive, North Shore City
Situation: Not sure how or when it was lost. I wanted to take it out last month but could not find it anywhere in my house. The last time I had it was on my friend’s car.

Lost object: Mp3 player USB cable
Location: Ballarat Street, Ellerslie
Situation: I lost the USB connection cable of my mp3 player which is made in Japan hence no replacement could be found in New Zealand. Lucky I managed to asked a friend to get this cable for me from Japan later.

Lost Object: H&E Bus card
Location: Somewhere in university city campus
Situation: I have lost a bus card similar to this earlier when semester two started. It has been just recharged and there was $50 credit in it when that happened
